WIRE HARNESS PRODUCTS
A wire harness is the type of wire that can transmit electrical power from one electronic device to another. The most popular wire harness used today is the USB wire. People use this wire all the time to transfer both data and power through mobile devices such as digital cameras, Smartphones, tablets and so on. Of course the more technical wire harnesses are those people don’t often think about because they are built into our electronic devices. For example, wire hardness with a switch is the most common hardness inside our devices. But all we see is the switch portion on the outside that we either flick up or down. This is a power switch that is responsible for turning the device’s power on or off. These wires of a wire harness are typically bound together by small straps, cable lacing, cable ties, electrical tape, sleeves, and more.
Before we design your wire harness, we will create a diagram to prepare for its assembly. This will be our blueprint for the production of the wire harness. We will start by cutting the wire to the specified length using our unique wire cutting machine. We then strip the ends of the wires in order to expose their metal core. The core areas are fitted with either connector housings or terminals. Then they are clamped together on a pin board to finally form the wire harness. Of course there are more technical aspects to these steps, but this gives you a basic idea of the process we undertake to create custom wire harnesses for our customers.
There are literally hundreds of different wire harnesses that exist. If you need a wire harness for your specific electronic device then it is important that you understand the electrical and geometric requirements for the harness. Without this information, a custom harness cannot be designed or produced. Fortunately, we can help you obtain this information if you don’t have it. We at Top-Up Industry Corporation have been creating customized wire harnesses for over 30 years and we are familiar with all aspects of the production process. So if you have a device and don’t know the electronic or geometric requirements for the harness, then let us know as much information about the device as you can and we will research it further. You can email us at email@example.com and we will provide you with an answer as quickly as we can.
